Pastor Johnnie P. Bullock

Welcome to First Baptist Church of Florence Estates! I’m honored to serve as the pastor of this loving and faith-filled community, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside you in your spiritual journey.

My journey in ministry began with the strong foundation I received growing up in the church. This early training made for a smooth transition into pastoral leadership, and in 1981, I became the Pastor of Pine Hill Primitive Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA, where I served for three years.

I pursued my ministerial studies at Manna Bible Institute, Philadelphia College of Bible, Center of Urban Theological Studies (CUTS), and Liberty Bible Institute. I was also a member of the Abundant Harvest Fellowship of Churches under the leadership of Bishop David G. Evans of Bethany Baptist Church. In 2012, I joined the Baptist Minister’s Conference of Woodbury and Vicinity, and I currently serve as an active member of Christ Care Covenant Fellowship of Churches under the leadership of Bishop Robert F. Hargrove, Sr.

In 1988, my wife, Carolyn, and I moved with our two sons, Andrew and Joshua, to Sicklerville, NJ. Shortly after, I joined St. Matthews Baptist Church under the pastoral care of Dr. Raymond M. Gordon. I was blessed to serve on St. Matthews’ ministerial staff, continuing to use my gifts under Pastor Gordon’s leadership.

In 1991, I accepted the call to become the Pastor of First Baptist Church of Florence Estates in Berlin, NJ, where I continue to serve today. It is my passion to see lives transformed through the power of the Gospel, and I invite you to grow, worship, and serve with us as we seek to honor God together.
